LDExtras Anniversary Sweepstakes Terms and Conditions

LDExtras is celebrating it’s 2-year anniversary and will be running a sweepstakes between August 16th and 31st, 2024. The prizes will include a Grey Cup prize package and 15 LDExtras points prizes. Entry will be made through the London Drugs App and LDExtras Website under “rewards and vouchers”.

1. Eligibility: LDExtras Anniversary Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) is open only to persons who are at the time of Contest entry: (1) a legal resident of one any of the Canadian provinces and territories excluding Quebec ; (2) are an active LDExtras Member; (3) have attained at least the age of majority in their respective province of residence (nineteen (19) in British Columbia, and eighteen (18) in all other provinces), (4) have not won a London Drugs contest since August 31, 2023 (5) are not an employee of, or an immediate family member (e.g. spouse, parents, siblings and children) or household member of any employee of London Drugs, their respective advertising and promotional agencies or the independent judging organization. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions which include the official rules of the Contest. 2. To enter the Contest: No Purchase Necessary. An LDExtras member must click “Register” for the Contest as shown in your account during the contest period between August 16, 2024 to 11:59 pm Pacific Time August 31, 2024.) A second entry may be received by spending $100 before taxes and levies during the contest period, but the offer must first be registered on the member’s LDExtras account. To receive a second entry without purchase you can mail in your name, LDExtras Member Identifier, phone and email address, along with a handwritten letter around 100 words about why you would shop at London Drugs, to LDExtras Program Administration, 12831 Horseshoe Place, Richmond, British Columbia, V7A4X5. No purchase entries must be entered between August 16, 2024 to 11:59 pm Pacific Time on August 31, 2024 and postmarked by no later than contest end date of 11:59 pm Pacific Time on August 31, 2024.

3. The maximum limit of two entries per Member for the Contest. Any entries in excess will be discarded. London Drugs is not responsible for entries that become lost or misdirected.

4. The chances of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the period the Contest is open for. The winners will be randomly chosen by the 15th of September 2024, 11:59pm Pacific Time in Richmond, British Columbia. To win, selected entrants must correctly answer a timed, skill-testing mathematical question and must sign London Drugs’ declaration and release confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded, releasing London Drugs, its agents, sponsors and the judges from liability in association with the contest and prize and consenting to the use of their name, photograph, voice and statements for promotional and publicity purposes. Only one prize may be won per person and per household. In the event that any selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill-testing question or is otherwise unwilling or unable to comply in full with these rules, a new entry will be drawn.

5. There will be a total of 16 (sixteen) prizes to be awarded. The grand prize is a trip to the 2024 Grey Cup game in Vancouver BC on November 17th, 2024. The remaining 15 (fifteen) prizes will be 250,000 and 100,000 points prizes to be outlined below.

A. Grand Prize: Grey Cup Prize Package

- Two (2) tickets to the Grey Cup game in Vancouver BC on November 17th, 2024

- One (1) Airfare voucher (value of $1500)

- Two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations for the Grey Cup game in Vancouver, BC at a hotel selected by London Drugs in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy)

No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any transportation. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Contest Rules, in addition to those set forth by the airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract, along with those rules or terms and conditions of any other transportation provider related to the Prize. Winner must notify London Drugs of travel dates at least 30 days in advance. Grand Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, holiday and other blackout dates and certain other restrictions and conditions, all of which are subject to change. Pricing may increase during peak seasonal dates and Potential Winner is responsible for anything over and above the total allotted Grand Prize Amount. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the Prize description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, passenger tariffs or duties, airline & airport fees, surcharges, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the sole responsibility of Winner.

Travel companions: Unless Winner is a parent or legal guardian of such travel companion(s) (and has permission from any non-travelling parent or legal guardian), all travel companions must have attained the age of majority in their respective province of residence; (nineteen (19) in British Columbia, and eighteen (18) in all other provinces) as of the date of departure. Travel Companion must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the Winner. Travel companion and Winner must execute liability/publicity releases in favor of London Drugs prior to issuance of travel documents. Winner and Travel Companions are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports and any other documents necessary for travel. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. London Drugs will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.

B. Points Prizes

- 5 (five) prizes of 250,000 LDExtras points

- 10 (ten) prizes of 100,000 LDExtras points

Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted, except that London Drugs reserves rights to substitute a prize or prize component for one of equal or greater value. Actual value of each prize may fluctuate based on pricing of each prize component at time prize is redeemed. The Grand Prize will be transmitted to the winner via their provided email address. The points prizes will be automatically added to the member’s account.

6. Selected entrants will be contacted by phone or email. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. If the selected entrant is unreachable within five (5) days a new entrant will be chosen in the same manner until a winner is determined.

7. Decisions of the judges in respect of all aspects of this contest including, but not limited to, eligibility of entries and correctness of answers given to the skill-testing question, are final. London Drugs, contest sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization, and their respective agents are not liable to an entrant in any manner relating to the contest or the awarding and use of the prize(s).

8. This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and to the extent applicable the laws of Canada. It is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

9. By entering this contest, the entrant consents to the collection of all personal information included on their entry and agrees to the use and disclosure of such information by and between London Drugs, the independent judging organization, its advertising and promotional agency and their respective agents. The winner(s) also agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of their name, entry, photographs, voice and statements for London Drugs’ publicity purposes without further compensation. All personal information collected from entrants will be used only for the purposes of administering the contest and for marketing and promotional purposes as contemplated by these rules; under no circumstances will any personal information be sold or rented to third parties. All personal information collected by London Drugs will be kept in accordance with the privacy policy of London Drugs, which can be viewed at www.londondrugs.com, and in accordance with all applicable privacy laws.

10. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media platform which may be used to communicate this Contest. All such entities are completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest should be directed only to London Drugs.

11. London Drugs and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their employees, officers, directors and anyone involved in the production, development or implementation of this Contest or the provision of any prize are not liable or responsible for any failure of any website during this Contest, nor liable or responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or any e-mail, online or internet entry lost due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.

12. The right is reserved by London Drugs to terminate this contest, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the contest, and/or these rules in any way, should any cause beyond the reasonable control of London Drugs or its agents affect the proper administration thereof.
